Automation Engineer
At K3 Advisory Group, we have a new opportunity as an Automation Engineer, based in our office in Kuala Lumpa.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain automations and integrations using IPaaS and workflow platforms (e.g. n8n, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps), alongside RPA solutions.
Design and develop simple low‑code applications to support business processes and operational workflows.
Integrate across CRM, finance systems, email, SharePoint, and document stores.
Develop lightweight scripts (e.g. Python or JavaScript) where custom logic or data transformation is required.
Implement robust exception handling, logging, monitoring and audit trails.
Contribute to the definition and evolution of low‑code and automation standards, reusable templates and governance guidelines.
Track and report automation value and ROI.
Preferable Experience
3+ years’ experience in automation, integration or low‑code development.
Strong API integration and workflow orchestration skills.
Experience with low‑code and integration platforms (e.g. n8n, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Appian, Creatio or similar).
Practical experience with RPA tools (UiPath or equivalent).
Secure credential handling and least‑privilege access.
Evidence of delivering high‑value automation or low‑code solutions at scale.
Success Measures
10+ priority automations or low‑code solutions delivered in year one.
10,000+ hours annualised savings from automation.
Sustained success rate >98% with low exception rates.
