Our team comprises highly experienced Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers who provide a broad range of specialist tax advisory services. We work with owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed organisations and corporates operating both in the UK and internationally.
We operate a fully remote working model, giving our people the flexibility to work from the location that suits them, with the option to use office space across the UK.
We are committed to attracting, developing and retaining early-career talent. Our structured Internship Programme is an important part of this commitment and acts as the primary pathway into our Graduate Programme.
K3 Tax Advisory is part of K3 Advisory Group, a market-leading professional services group providing high-quality advice across Business Sales, Tax, Restructuring, Technology Solutions and Financial Services.
About the Internship Programme
Our paid Summer Internship Programme runs for six weeks, four days per week from Monday to Thursday.
The programme gives you the opportunity to experience the tax profession first-hand, working alongside experienced tax professionals and contributing to real client assignments.
Tax is constantly evolving, and the work we undertake helps clients understand and manage their tax affairs while making significant business and commercial decisions.
Throughout your internship, you will be supported by a dedicated buddy and mentor, helping to ensure your experience is productive, engaging and gives you a genuine insight into what a career with K3 Tax Advisory could look like.
What You’ll Experience
Group Induction
You will spend the early part of your first week in London, where you will join interns from across K3 Advisory Group for a general induction and have the opportunity to start building your professional network as part of a group social activity.
You will also spend time with the K3 Tax Advisory team, receiving introductory training. This will prepare you to contribute to real client work throughout your internship.
Your buddy will meet with you to help you set objectives for the programme.
Real Client Work
You will work alongside K3 Tax Advisory colleagues on client assignments, undertaking tax work similar to that expected of a first-year graduate trainee. This is designed to give you a realistic understanding of what a graduate career with us involves. This could involve assisting in preparing tax technical reports, researching points of tax law, drafting client correspondence, sitting in on client meetings, etc.
Your buddy will support you throughout the programme and help you work towards the objectives established during your first week.
Alongside your client work, you will prepare a final presentation to deliver towards the end of your internship.
Professional Development
Together with fellow interns from across K3 Advisory Group, you will take part in shared learning modules covering areas including:
· Professional skills
· Networking
· Wellbeing
These sessions are designed to develop skills that will support you throughout your career.
Programme Wrap-Up
In the last few days of your internship, you will spend another few days in London with our other interns, rounding off your Internship Programme.
